WALLSCARS
Inkjet print on paper
180 x 270 cm
2024
Although materials and techniques were used that are intended for reproductions, traces can be seen that are reminiscent of the process.
In the end, the image hangs on the wall and forms stains or scars.
Our skin envelops our body and separates the inside from the outside. In architecture, it is walls
that separate the space in which we live from the external environment. How are the inner and outer spaces connected, what comes through the sensitive membranes?
What are the scars telling us? The work ‘Wall scars’ is the result of a process in which images of scars are transformed into a material object and back again.
